I originally owned a Royal Black Ridge Wallet 1.0 with the Money Clip and decided to buy the Sakura Daily Driver Kit for the following reasons:
1) The Sakura Ridge Wallet design was cooler.
2) The Sakura Ridge Wallet is made of carbon fiber which is a better material than the wallet I already had and the strongest and lightest material you can get a Ridge Wallet in.
3) The Sakura Ridge Wallet was a Ridge Wallet 2.0 meaning that it would be lighter than the one I already had.
4) The Sakura Ridge Wallet had a Cash Strap which was something I never used before so I wanted to try it and see what that experience would be like since I do at times carry a large amount of bills and the Cash Strap always seemed more suited for that than the Money Clip anyway,
Now if you already regularly use a Ridge Wallet and are looking to buy a new one, then you can't go wrong with this one. It functions the exact same way as the one you already have so you'll be able to pick up and use it easily. If you have never used a Ridge Wallet, then I highly recommend giving this one a try. The material and build quality is excellent, it is very easy to use and a lot easier to carry around than a traditional wallet. Just know that when you first get it and place your cards into the actual wallet that the cards will be a bit stiff when trying to push them out at first because the wallet will be new but after repeated use the cards will to start to slide out a lot easier.
